Venneker Nursery, a family-owned business, has been a beacon of horticultural excellence since its establishment in 1948 by Anton and Kathrina Venneker. In 1979, Albert and Hannelore Venneker took over the reins, expanding the business and modernizing the existing facilities. Today, under the leadership of Nick Venneker, the nursery continues to produce plants of the highest quality, using state-of-the-art technology. Over the years, Nick has been instrumental in implementing various projects, such as the expansion of the greenhouse in 2003 and the redesign of the sales greenhouse in 2008, both of which received high praise from customers. Nick, born in 1976, is a proud father of three and a dedicated horticulturist. After completing his high school education, he trained at the Segler Nursery in Langenberg, followed by a degree in horticulture from Osnabrück and an internship in Holland. Since 2003, he has been actively involved in the family business, gradually taking over the management responsibilities. His wife, Andrea Venneker, handles the business's commercial aspects. After completing her high school education, she trained as an industrial clerk and later pursued an evening course to become a state-certified business economist. Albert and Hannelore Venneker, although retired, continue to lend their expertise to the new owners, ensuring a smooth transition.
