I recently completed my licence conversion process at Frank & Silkes Fahrschule, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience.
As someone who already had a driver’s licence for over 15 years, I needed to go through the German system after relocating. Before joining this school, I had started the process elsewhere — and unfortunately, that journey was far from smooth. Switching to Frank & Silkes Fahrschule, based on a friend’s recommendation, made all the difference.
From the very beginning, I felt genuinely welcomed. The team took the time to understand my situation and made every effort to provide clear, honest guidance. One of the things I appreciated most was their transparency. Every step of the process — from lesson planning to payments — was trackable through their app, giving me full clarity and peace of mind.
I always knew what I was paying for, how many lessons I needed, and what progress I was making. Even more impressively, they clearly stated that any unused fees would be refunded. And they meant it: on the same day I passed my exam, I received an email asking for my bank details so they could return the remaining balance.
I’d especially like to thank my instructor, Jascha, for his exceptional approach. He was calm, focused, and incredibly supportive. With a strong sense of pedagogy and a warm attitude, he created a learning environment where I felt respected and confident — qualities that, unfortunately, are not a given everywhere.
What stood out to me the most was that even after I passed, the school reached out to let me know I could contact them anytime with further questions. That thoughtful follow-up reflects the school’s values: they’re not just about getting you through the exam — they genuinely care about doing things right.
For anyone new to Germany, especially those navigating a system they’re unfamiliar with, I strongly recommend Frank & Silkes Fahrschule. It’s a place where clarity, professionalism, and respect come together — and where you’re truly treated as a person, not just a customer.
