Managing Director of TREFFER Legal & Tax GmbH is Thomas Treffer. Thomas is admitted as an attorney and certified tax advisor with the Munich tax advisory chamber and the Munich bar association. After working for an US investment bank in corporate finance and a leading German law firm, he began his career as an attorney in the international tax department of a global law firm in Frankfurt am Main. Since then, Thomas' field of practice is providing legal and tax advice in connection with real estate and corporate transactions as well as tax structuring, inter alia, with cross-border implications. In the past, Thomas also advised insurance companies on the placement of transaction risk policies (i.e. Warranty & Indemnity and Contingent Tax Risk insurances). Before founding TREFFER Legal & Tax, he was seconded directly to a major insurance corporation as underwriter for these products. Thomas is supported by a team of experienced professionals with decades of experience in tax consulting and financial accounting.
